Durham

DurhamNC.jpgDurham is a city full of pride and diversity. The Durham Bulls, Carolina Hurricanes, and Duke Sports Teams all call Durham home. A number of museums and art institutions also bring in millions of visitors to the area every year. While it is a small city with all the charms of small city life, it also offers a lower cost of living in a larger urban environment. Durham provides many different opportunities through Duke University, North Carolina Central University, the National Humanities Center, and many more companies within Research Triangle Park.

Created in 1823 and re-established in 1869, Durham has a rich history. Today it is known as the 4th Largest City in the state of North Carolina, 245,000 people call it homes, and it has been known as the City of Medicine. Healthcare is a major industry, including more than 300 medical and health-related companies and medical practices. The Raleigh-Durham airport is also co-owned by the cities of Durham and Raleigh, as well as Durham and Wake Counties.

Durham contains a lot of culture, opportunities for education and employment, as well as a bustling tourist population. It is an eventful place to call home and we would be more than happy to explore the area with you whether you are relocating or currently neighbors to the city!
